Karen Stephens is the Charities and Regulated Entities Manager at DH&Co. She joined the firm in 2016 and has over 16 years of experience working in private practice. Karen started her accountancy career in 2003, working as an accounts assistant and then as a financial controller in 2005, before moving to private practice in 2007.
When Karen first joined the DH&Co team she dealt with company accounts, before moving to specialise in Charity and Not-For-Profit clients in 2018. Karen qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2019 and now manages over 50 Charity and Not-For-Profit entities that span many sectors.
When asked what she enjoys most about her role Karen responded, “Working closely with charities to understand their purpose and ensure that both their reporting requirements and customer service expectations are met”. The most enjoyable thing about working at DH&Co according to Karen, is working with a friendly team and the wide variety of work.
