Laura King currently works on a consultancy basis for DH&Co as a Solicitor. She started working with the firm in 2019 but has previously worked with the Directors and clients of the firm through projects with her previous employer, therefore her relationship with DH&Co really started about 8 years ago. Prior to working, Laura earned a joint degree in Law and French from Strathclyde University. She specialises in succession and estate planning matters, including the preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney and Trusts. She also deals with executry administration and prepares guardianship applications when a person has lost capacity without a Power of Attorney. She has been a Private Client solicitor for 15 years.
When asked what she enjoys the most about working at the company, Laura replied that it was the variety of work due to providing professional services to a wide range of clients each of which has their own unique set of circumstances, which ensures that each day is different. She thinks DH&Co is different from other accountancy firms because everyone shares the same vision, with a genuine spirit of cooperation and shared goals, all centred around helping the clients and providing an excellent service along the way.
Laura’s main client goal is to ensure that all clients have the best experience possible. Communication is key, and she always aims to deliver a high quality service, providing bespoke advice to suit their particular set of circumstances.
