Harriet Campbell is a solicitor qualified in England & Wales and a Senior Lawyer with DH&Co. She joined the firm in October 2018 after spending 17 years as a solicitor with Farrer & Co LLP in London. Before starting work, Harriet graduated from Cambridge University with an MA in Modern and Medieval Languages (French and Russian) before going on to graduate with distinction in CPE and LPC from The College of Law in London.
Harriet advises on all aspects of trust law; wills and probate/confirmation, tax and estate planning for individuals, families and trustees. She is also experienced in heritage law and can advise on the protection of vulnerable beneficiaries through Wills and Trust drafting. She can also provide guidance on inheritance and capital gains tax related matters for trusts and individuals, both in life and after death.
When asked about her favourite aspect of working with DH&Co, Harriet says that it is the opportunity to provide clients with a truly complete service and to work alongside the accountants to produce expert solutions to meet client needs that really stands out to her. Harriet’s main goal when working with clients is to get to the heart of what they are asking as quickly and efficiently as possible and to provide them with a bespoke solution. She says, ‘It is a bit odd to say I “enjoy” administration of Estates, but it is a real privilege to be able to help clients at what can be a very emotionally difficult time. My aim is to make this tricky period in life as smooth and trouble free as possible'.
